Rupa is an international voiceover actor and has been in the profession for over 10 years. She has lent her voice to TV and radio commercials and promos, corporate films, flash presentations, website demos, documentaries, radio imaging, and telephone IVRs among other things. She specializes in English with a neutral accent, with a dash of British – more in popular demand these days as an international accent or a global/worldly sound. Rupa is also proficient in Hindi and Kannada. Her clients include leading names such as Western Union, Tanqueray, Travel Channel, AMC, PBS, Discovery Channel, Continental Airlines, Jet Airways, McKinsey, Bristol-Myers Squibb, IBM, Radiocity 91.1FM, Garnier and Pillsbury, to name a few. In the course of her career she has worked with clients in the USA, UK, France, Germany, India, Canada, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Kuwait. A true professional, her clients will vouch for her sincerity, high quality work and above all, her passion for her craft. Rupa has received professional training at the New York University (NYU) under well known voice actor and theatre/film veteran, Alice Elliott, the dynamic Voiceover coach - Nancy Wolfson of Braintracks Audio, as well as from noted authors and voiceover gurus - James Alburger and Penny Abshire. She has studied Audio book techniques under Marc Cashman, and earlier under Bruce Kitovich, at Edge Studio, NYC. She is also a trained singer in Indian Classical music. |
